No, I've never been to PAX so I have no idea really what to expect. Although I was just thinking the other day that I'd like to go to some sort of gaming convention/exhibit/event if possible sometime in the near future. Haven't started to research that, but I'm assuming you're going to have a good time with this one!

I am not an accountant, however it depends on if the company that provided the prize reports the prize and value to the IRS in a 1090 form. If there is no report, then it is up to youto claim them on your taxes. Personally, if the IRS doesn't know about it... they get more than enough money from me every year AND I have to pay in usually... so screw em.
