Well, my current computer has 256mb of ram, so I've been searching all over for an upgrade. Only thing I got was 512, and it doesn't fit my computer. So my brother gets me a new one and tells me, "All it needs is an O.S." I'm thinking, fine, I can do that. I get the computer plug it up and hit the power, a split second later I hear some hideous shreik coming from the PC!

I SWEAR it told me to kill myself.

I called him and asked him what I was to do about it, and he tells me I need to clean it.

What would be the best way to do so, I'm thinking Leaf Blower and soft tooth brush for 15 minutes would do the trick >.>

Any suggestions?

the loud noise means something does not have power, probably a video card.

and the leaf blower thing, that doesnt sound like a serious question. buy a can of air or use a air compressor to blow the dust out.

Leaf Blower? LOL!!! The absolute best thing I believe is one of the small hand-held electronics vacuums. But if you dont have that, a regular vacuum with the wand attachment on will get the big stuff (just make sure you don't actually touch anything with the wand). Then, use a can of compressed air. Rinse and repeat until things are clean.
But honestly, I can't believe some dust would make your computer cry out in pain.

Exactly, parts would die anyway even you were hardly used or what ever. And from what i could figure out from your speech, you are running with very old pc so this noise would be common.
Anyway, go ahead with that cleaning idea becuase it iwl lhelp your pc to run abit fresher
