Good day.

I've been using the Logitech MX310 Optical Mouse for a number of years now. I liked the product so much that I purchased several to keep around in case they break.

Regrettably, I am fresh out copies, as my last one is having issues registering clicks or holding a click. I am having difficultly locating a vendor who still sells them though. Because of this, I need to locate a suitable replacement.

I am on the hunt for a simple, elegant, yet sturdy wired optical mouse. It doesn't need a bazillion buttons on it, as four has suited me just fine for a number of years, so if I can find one similar that would be swell. Somewhere in the price range of $20-40 would be preferable.

Any and all recommendations would be most helpful.

Thank you for your time.

Another vote for the MX518, I love mine. Particularly the "adjust sensitivity" button on top. :)

I'm surprised nobody mentioned the Logitech G5, it's top-tier and relatively inexpensive.

Best Buy has a Dynex mouse for $19 which i use right now. comes with of course left, right, mouse buttons, middle mouse wheel and button and one button on the left side of the mouse and a button on the right side of the mouse. and i do not have to use a mouse pad and the tracking it really good.

heres the link on how it looks.

http://reviews.cnet.com/mice/dynex-wired-optical-mouse/1707-3148_7-32826127.html

for me i love it it works weel for normal and gaming needs. and for $19 its good bang for the buck.

Yup it is. You could even find it cheaper some places. That's what I'm planning to get because my Copperhead can die any day now..
