You can't snap the disks in half in a fit of rage. I've just rage-uninstalled Bad Company 2 for the third time, and nothing in the world would make me happier than to ensure I never install the #!&@ thing again.

Meanwhile, I will keep reinstalling it every month because I forget the horribleness over time. I've realized that I'm usually very unhappy and frustrated while I'm playing the game, yes I still play it compulsively. In all seriousness, it would be very useful to be able to delete it for good. Imagine if you were trying to quit cocaine, but you had a free cocaine vending machine in your living room that you couldn't remove or shut off without getting rid of all your other appliances. dos4gw82Just give away your steam user name and password. Easy as 1,2,3.
Lol whats your problem with Bc2?Iantheone
The way the game handles latency is a big part of it. I really don't understand why this game lags as much as it does. I'm getting pings of 70-100 in most every other game, but with BC2, it's more like 150-190. That really isn't that bad, but when I have a ping of 160 or more, I get this horrible lurching effect that makes it i aiming and moving very inaccurate and difficult. I don't mind my hits registering later than other players', but I really should be able to move without wrestling with the controls.
But that really isn't the core reason. I'm addicted to it...even though it's no longer fun for me.

Not sure what the deal is with BC2, I don't really have that problem at all. Sure some servers are problematic, but I do quite well. Sucks I guess. Breaking a CD will not help though, sounds kind of silly to me. millerlight89*shrug* Silly? Sure. But there's nothing wrong with venting frustration, or marking my retirement from the game with some kind of action, however symbolic.

However, if it was retail and you didn't have it on Steam, yea that would be a bit much. Your stuff though, so whatever.
You could actually call/e-mail Steam support and ask them to remove the game from your library. You won't get a refund, and I have no earthly idea why someone would do this-- but my friend did it with MW2 and GTAIV.
You can VIRTUALLY break the disc...
Boot up from DOS CD...
Enter "fo.rmat c: /u" on the command prompt....
