Online Multiplayer Games That Still Have a Large User-Base/Communities/Support?

I've been getting the itch to play some online multiplayer on my PC. I was wondering if anybody knew of some titles (any genre) that have big communities and a lot of online-gamers still (please exclude console ports).

Here are games I know that you can still find a lot of online-multiplayer users:

1. Starcraft Broodwar (and any Blizzard released game after that - especially WoW).

2. Team Fortress 2

3. Company of Heroes (RTS)

Umm... do you mean including new games? Or just old games that have kept their online communities.

of older games... Warcraft 3 still has a huge following. Its also helped by DotA, technically a custom map but really a seperate game using the WC3 map creation engine, which has a huge community which I believe is still growing

Nice...I like UT. There's a good title to add to my list. Didn't know there was still a lot of online-support/users for that game.

I should have noted to exclude console ports (MW2).

Damn, has the pc platform gone that much to crap that we can't even name more than 5-7 titles?

UT2k4 is on its last set of legs in terms of community population.

The only game 2 games you need to get are Counter Strike 1.6 and Source, biggest communities out there imo, you can literally play 40 different types of games in cs.

The reason your not getting as much replies as you want is because most of them are to busy enjoying them ;)

I was hoping more obscure titles would come up in this thread. So far, for the most part, all we got is stuff most people already know about.
