[QUOTE="chris4355"]I'm sorry but I hate the idea of not being able to physically own a game. I'm also very surprised this is not bothering more people.

It bothers me, also you can't resell a digital game. Like someone mentioned already, what happens when this company goes under? Or God forbid if Steam ever goes under :o I've bought a few games for $5-10 on Steam.I know waht you mean about steam. The only game I ever bought on steam was Crysis Warhead and now I feel like I don't own the game.
I just don't like the idea of digitally owning something, while only being able to access it through Steam, or any other program.
I also don't see onlive succeeding all that effectively, my guess is its too young for its time. Not many people have very fast connections that will be able to handle this at a higher quality than what they already have, I know I won't.
I also think that no lag thing they have been claiming is bs, no matter what there will be some kind of noticeable latency, really comes down to whether players will be willing to put up with it or not.

I could see how developpers would like it though, especially in the PC market where everyone owns a different PC and its a pain in the ass for them to deal with tech support and constant patches due to compatibility issues.
Maybe if onlive gets a couple of exclusives then that will give it an edge, but even then, people are limited due to low connection speed.
Oh and one more thing, the idea of paying a subscription fee for games I pay for really bugs me, if thats the case I could see a lot of people not even considering this.
