Only 1analogue stick works with my joypad (GTA SA)

I use one of my wired Xbox 360 controllers, I want to move the camera with the right analogue stick and actually move with the left (Like the console settings) if I try and change it on the joy-pad configuration setting it wont do anything.

Can anyone help, of has anyone had the same problem. 

Use your gamepad on your X-box. PC-players uses kb+m.

(By the way, anyone heard that ONE/THIRD of all X-boxes sold first halfyear, was so faulty they had to be sent back to factory to be fixed!)(hmmm... Microsoft)
