Just wondering what everyones most anticipated PC games of 2008 are.

Mine would have to be

1.Spore

2.Guild Wars 2

3.Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures

I hate delays, they anger me!.........well as long as they don't delay it until 7000 AD or anything I guess I can live with it

Far Cry 2, Project Origin and Empire: Total War look pretty spectacular, as well as the new Alone in the Dark.

While it's not a game per se, I'm also eagerly anticipating an announcement from Relic on their next full blown game sometime this year. Finding out that Dawn of War 2 is definitely coming would have me smiling all year.

To be honest I don't look forward to any specific game, because lately I've been mostly disappointed by games I thought were going to be fantastic and surprised by games I did not bother to read up on before their release. I try to track games that are interesting and have the potential to be good titles, but a gametrailer/screenshots or an interview with a developer are not going to make me "OMG, this is going to be great!"

Well, I'm lying of course, I look forward to Mass Effect 2. Hopefully Bioware does a better job with the sidequests this time. Or at least gets rid of "fetch this or that mineral to get 36 XP". That was just dumb and took away focus from the truly awesome aspects of that game.
