Is the game better on PC or consoles ?

PC, of course!
1. Better visuals
2. Better controls
3. Better online play (free)
4. Mods, mods, mods!
5. Map editor
As I always say, games are only better on console for co-op; its great sitting down with a friend on a couch and going through a campaign together. Thats about the only virtue, though.

if they made the game anything like the original Operation Flashpoint then it should be easier and betetr on PC. The original used a lot of buttons.
Consoles because if you ask such a question it's obvious you don't want what's best (PC-since any FPS is a lot better on PC), but what's more accessible (friends, etc).
To add to all this, asking what is better on a system-specific board will bring forth some bias. :p Granted, this bias is justified, and in this case especially, the PC version is simply superior in every way, but just saying.
BTW, anyone excited for Risen or what!?
I get what you're saying, ARMA II is already way better with better mod support etc., but this is essentially a military sim for those who aren't as hardcore about it. It's a little console-ized, but it looks to be a decent game. Better on PC, just reread the other posts. Essentially, all shooters are better on PC.Whats the appeal of this game anyway?

It only supports 32 players?...........LMFAO!!.............LAME!!!!!!........thats just pathetic compared to the first one. I can now save my money for something good :)
Then buy ArmA 2, because there isn't anything else like this coming any time soon.It only supports 32 players?...........LMFAO!!.............LAME!!!!!!........thats just pathetic compared to the first one. I can now save my money for something good :)

[QUOTE="MrUnSavory1"]Then buy ArmA 2, because there isn't anything else like this coming any time soon. The most popular type of game in Arma 2 seemed to be co-op, as I recall. 32 players would seem to be plenty for that.It only supports 32 players?...........LMFAO!!.............LAME!!!!!!........thats just pathetic compared to the first one. I can now save my money for something good :)

Already got ArmA2 and it has the same limit the old OFP had....150........I love the big maps and the large amount of people all working together with all the diffrent vehicles. JUst not the same with just 32 people...

Eh at least it sounds like the voice acting will be a lot better in operation. It is kind of irritating hearing robot voices in Arma 2...Whats the appeal of this game anyway?
