I'm all about getting a good deal, but some people are so extreme about that kind of thing. It's just STUFF, people! You don't win anything when you die with the most toys.
I agree that there a lot of "cheap, no dignity people" in the US. I think it's kind of sad that there are so many rude, obnoxious, narcissistic, egotistical people. And it's even sadder that many of these people are encouraged and influenced to act this way through TV, advertising, and music. I saw an ad the other day for a sidekick phone where the premise is a guy looking up info to lie to a chick to impress her. Message: "lie to impress girls to get affection." WTF!? Whatever happened to just being nice?

I agree with this man! It's a sad and cruel world, but all we can do is make the best of it.
According to my American friend (who took advantage of black friday to buy The Orange Box, finally), Bestbuy was selling it for $25 online as well. So he got it for $25 from the comfort of his computer.mfsayeah.. i don't get why people went instore like that. they were selling it for $25 for a day and a half BEFORE black friday online, with either free shipping or store pickup.
