Which of these two WWII RTS games is better?
This topic is locked from further discussion.
Since R.U.S.E is being made by french developers Eugen Systems in which in turn produced the most incredible gameplay action alike RTS- Act of War- back in late 2005; therefore I come to the logical conclusion RUSE will as well amazingly great. Maybe, just as once was, being the best of its genre but not commercially reckoned as such
Well, too bad
They both look good.
Order of War is like a World in Conflict type of game (same engine it looks like) just set in World War II.
R.U.S.E. is bringing a new frontier to the RTS genre with deceptive gameplay tactics.
In the end I think R.U.S.E. will come out as being the better game.
Act of War was simply badass. It had such a great balls to the wall, Michael Bay-ish feel!
Even the covers scream awesome, it looks like they explode in your face:
The new Command and Conquer games have nothing on this display of manliness!
Eugen has real architects taking care of the overall design. They mentioned they take their time to manually place every object in RUSE's enormous maps... The visual spectacle is guaranteed, and the gameplay movies look incredibly epic. It's like one of those games that you always dreamed to play, and now it's being actually made.
Order of War looks like Total War meets World in Conflict. It's nice that you can't loose, but... I don't know. It looks good, but nowhere near the ambition of RUSE.
I think OoW was already released in Belarus and maybe Russia under some random idiotic name and gained some critical acclaim. Anyone know more?
