So I want to use two of em. How many sli connectors do I need?

you need an sli capable motherboard which should have come with a sli connector. you would only need one.

Yeah thanks. I wasn't so sure because the 8800gts only had one slot while the GTX has two so I thought I would need one more.

The dual connector is for tri sli. Motherboards that support it will supply it also.

Not really. If he had 680i board then he needs to buy Tri-Sli connector
