Origin downloading slow!

Im not sure if this is in the right place but origin is downloading really slow and ive done some research and its happening to just about everyone. 

Anyone else having this problem?

No problems hear. I was downloading at 6 MB/s two days ago.

Origin sometimes caps it's download for some reason. I normally get 4 - 8 MB/s but a couple times was downloading at 300KB/s

Just wait it out.

the big discussion you linked to started 2 years ago so my guess would be that this will have something to do with the reason for locking it.

anyway, the way i see it it's just one of the drawbacks of digital game stores. sometimes it's fast, sometimes it's slow and on a rare occasion it doesn't work at all. especially on peak times, like a weekend in the summer holiday, it would seem unrealistic to expect maximum speeds as you are likely not the only one trying to download something. take that into account the next time you buy something to avoid future disappointment. if it's at origin's end you can count on them to fix it as fast as they can because a reliable service is in their best interest.

Never had a problem with Origin downloads myself. I've found it to be much faster than Steam.

Not sure with origin. Did you ever get your ip problems resolved btw?

Best to wait it out, I know my connection is finnicky and takes time to pick up speed.

The game already downloaded but what should have taken 10 hours took over 52+

EA is very weak company about issues. They are want, players buy to Pirates and Nobles expansion pack, to able to run Windows 8 support for Sims Medieval.

Origin downloads twice as fast as my steam does

well every one is buying games and downloading and taking load on servers... it's exspectedk2theswiss
