I have a q6600, ip35 pro, and ocz ddr 800 ram. If I leave the ram speed set to default I can't overclock my comp past 3 ghz. Should I just lower the ram speed to overclock more , or is there a way to overclock the ram more? I tried increasing the volt on the ram to 1.9 but it still didn't work

Lower you RAM to 533MHz, a 1:1 ratio with the Q6600's FSB. Then overclock the CPU. Once you find the highest stable OC, or reach what you want, then you can try raising the RAM by itself if you want.

You can get a Q6600 to 3.6 GHz (400x9) with 800MHz RAM, without having to OC the RAM over stock speed.
