My system config

Intel P4 3ghz

1.5GB ram

I have a XFX Geforce 8500 GT

my core clock is 450Mhz,my memory clock 400Mhz

I cant play Colin Mcrae Dirt smoothly at medium settings with 4x Anti aliasing. (10-15 fps) horrible frame rates!!!!!!!!!

will overclocking the core and memory clock with riva tuner by 15-20% help me play this game at these settings at atleast more than 20fps?????

Yeah you need to lay off the AA with that system in order to get better fps.

there is not much difference even if i turn AA off. I play it at (13fps avg) with AA off.

With 4xAA i play it at (11fps avg)

The framerates just dont go above 16-17fps

It is almost unplayable

Overclocking that card is unlikely to give you enough improvement.

You can still try and see if it helps a little but your probably going to have turn some of the settings to low and play without AA to get better peformance.

By the way in addition to the core and memory you can overclock the shaders with the 8500GT.
