you cant Overclock Pre-built Pc's, (actually its only the end PC's that they allow you to overclock), this is due to the locked BIOS hence you cant change anything. it doesn't matter much in your case as you would need an arftermarket cooler as i doubt you would get far on what you have now.

only QX6700 or Xtreme cards

in Australia theres only Q6600 or QX6850 and im not spending 800+ on a CPU so i went for teh Q6600 which you cant overclock, but i know a guy in england that has a Q6700 and he can OC that

and also just OC your GPU the CPU overclock as effective as a good GPU OC, and dell dont let you do that either, says it voids th warranty but i gueess you could OC it and then if anything happens to the computer and the perosn has to ome and take alook just put the clocks back to factory settings and delete/uninstall rivatuner or ntune or whatever you used.

and which is better rivertuner or ntune thanks

apart from that not making any sense at all, theres a few mistakes in what you said. with a CPU Overclock you get better performance for the amount you OC compared to GPU overclock making it much more worthwhile than a GPU OC. OC'ing on the modules that allow you to overclock does not void your warranty also.

Wrong a GPU overclock will benefit in almost all games whereas as long as your CPU is half decent very few games will actually get a boost.

Ofcourse once your CPU is old tech than ya it will give you boost in most games.

im not talking about in games though i am talking about in general, a nice CPU OC is extrememly more benefitial than a GPU upgrade, ie you get more from OC'ing your CPU than you would from OC'ing your GPU.
