overlord is getting me mad!!!

hi;

i am playing overlord and i reached the door leading to thebrewery but for strange reasons it won't open!!

i read all of the game-faqs on the net and all of them said just raise the bridge and kill the halfings guarding the door and then go downstaires...well, that seems easy except the door is not open!

i tried to uninstall and re-install the game and nothing changed and now iam stuck at that door please if any one knows what to do tell me...if that is not suppose to happen and no solutions found can somone send me the save files for that place??

I solved the probelm.....eventually i must complete heavens peak before entering the brewery.

the game mention that but notin a clear way(an elf at that door said that golden(dwarf hero) went to heaven's peak to get his wedding presents back). and from that you are supposed to understand(goto heavens peak first!!)
