I'm in the beta now and have played it for maybe 13 hours total. Never played the first so i don't know how it compares but this one has very fast and tight gunplay, there's a weapon modding system and a skill tree that you invest skill points in. The battles are crazy waves of police and other people trying to kill you and take your hostages. You do have the option of stealth this time, so there's a chance if you play your cards right that no police will even be called to the scene but I have yet to make it through a whole mission that way. It's shaping up to be a great little game, it's already a lot of fun even with just a tiny portion of the full game! I think it's worth the cash but I won't be able to confirm it for a while yet.

Didn't click the videos, but if this thread was created just to self promote crappy videos, that sucks. Buuuuuuuuuut, I fvcking love Payday 2. 40 hours into the beta so far and August 13th can not come soon enough.
