Seems weird, as they are made available in most cases. "Pre-order this game and get EXCLUSIVE content" and then a couple of months later it's up for sale as DLC. Talk about exclusive :P

Exactly. You bring up a good point. So if most of those things don't interest, but say, one item i.e. Skull mask.. just wait for it to become a DLC? Your call guys. :) But I'd rather save $6 because I personally don't really want those things. :)Elann2008

Well, I'm not getting the game yet. But all games I have pre-ordered this year were on GMG because they have the best deals I've found. If I would pre-order it, I would definitely go for the savings and use GMG.

I was only going to buy Dishonored DLC this month and now I've already bought 2 humble bundles filled with games. I think I can only get my backlog smaller if I unplug my computer from the internet :P

Haha, but I remember a time when games costed so much money and you just kept replaying the same old games until you had the money to buy more. And now the industry is gigantic and there is a huge amount of games to choose from, older ones that go on sale and cost almost nothing and so many interesting games that are coming out.

Sadly I'm leaving for two weeks a couple days after the game comes out, hopefully people are still playing it by the time I get back!

Yep, people asked on GMG about it and they said it only comes with what's on GMGs page and it doens't list that stuff

I guess people skipped over my second post right under OP. :(  Beta access was available since yesterday until launch for those that own Payday1.  That's pretty great, still.

This is a great deal for those like me that don't care about the DLCs.  At least look over the items.  They're not that good, but if you want them, then get it on steam and pay the $6.  This deal works out perfect for me because I'd rather pocket the $6 for pixel fashion i don't care for.

Anyone that owned Payday1 has a chance now to access the beta and play it until launch.  That's plenty of time.  Most developers do not even do this.

If you never owned Payday1 even when it was dirt cheap for $5, then you probably wouldn't have bought it on Steam for beta access anyways.  Let alone buy the game at launch.

I really don't see how this is in any way a bad deal or anything to complain about.  It's especially perfect that this was posted today considering Payday2 beta access for Payday1 owners started only yesterday.

If anyone picks this up and wants to do some games on tuesday and beyond let me know. Put 30+ hours already into the beta, excited for the full version. Doing 3 of the beta levels stealth was pretty satisfying hehe. Especially you Elann, we gotta do up some coop on this :D

1st I thought was average, had some great ideas but overall not as good as it coudl be. Part 2 is better in every way imo judging from the demo.

How does pre-ordering work on gmg? Do they give you a key to add to steam straight away or do they send them out in an email once its avaliable. Also this is slightly unrelated, if the gmg page of a game says it comes with the pre-order bonus for steam, but you dont use your cd key till the games released do you get the bonus stuff? was going to get arkam origins for my gf but she wants the pre-order bonus.

I personally went in on a 4 pack with 3 buddies on Steam.  Came out to $22.50 per person, and we all got the pre purchase goodies still.  :D

My preload just finished, it is only 5.9gb download, 18.8 when it installs.

Going to bed right now and will wake up at 5AM just to play Payday 2.

Indeed! Now I just have to wait for the game day patch to finish DLing and I can finally play.

As with all first day titles there are some bugs. You won't be able to play with friends unless you manage to download the first update. Taking me forever to get a place in the DL queue, though.
