Ditch the 7850. For only 70 more, you can get an uber leet 7950 that will last you a hell of a lot longer and it can be overclocked to 7970 specs or beyond. Do you wanna hang with Buzz lightyear or Buzz buzzkill? Because that's what the difference between the two cards is.

Are You brain damaged? I'm already over my $800 budget. I was originally going to get a 7770 so I think it's epic I squeezed in a 7850

Thanks for the warning I'm not too worried though as I have a 7970 in a tiny apevia X-dreamer case Myself. The cooler master can't be smaller than that I would think.

Maybe this videocard. It's the same price but has a higher OC http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131472

You could shave $50 off your build by getting a 7850 at stock speed http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150617

Wow really dude? Every person on this forum comes in with some sort of budget and for me to tell you unequivocally $800 and then you to suggest something almost $100 more thats obviousley not even an option. Sorry if hes going to grad school and buying an engagment ring for his girlfriend, but as you clearly cannot read you obviousley dont know anything about college. Have fun with your hand tonight scrub.

P.S. I do have a better job seeing as I have a 7970, and yes its amazing so piss off.

thanks for the advice, I considered those myself but I really liked MSI's non refrence design with the two fans, with a stock cpu cooler and a small case I really like that solution for quiet efficent cooling on the GPU, good thing I didnt order it yet though as I just found thishttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127662which after rebate is the same price!

Settled on the 7870 twin frozr GHz edition factory OC to 1050/1200MHz for $259.99, dont think thats very beatable. Also only $6 for 3 day shipping total.
