Hey everyone! I built a newish pc for Christmas but it is freezing up. When I use the vga plug (with an adaptor for my CRT monitor) from the video card (ATI X850XT) the screen will freeze after a few seconds/minutes of running. When I use the onboard mobo video out plug the computer works fine. I have installed the latest ATI drivers and I replaced the video card's stock fan with an aftermarket one. The screen doesn't flicker or anything before it freezes, it just...freezes. Any help would be appreciated, I know it's an old card but it worked fine with my old computer setup. Thanks!

Disable on-board video, or set it to boot from the AGP-PCI-E slot that has the video card. If the onboard isn't ATI uninstall the drivers and have the ATI drivers ready to install after you boot with the video card.
