Im fascinated with PC gaming, Im officially hooked now that Iv played Counter-Strike at a friends house, but I dont know what I should get. You see, my computer sucks ASS! Basically everything in it is from 2002 or before, so no special Nvideo GeForce stuff or whatever PC gamers have in the box. I know for a fact that my computer can run World of Warcraft and Medal of Honour: Allied Assault (Battlefield 1942 aswell, but kind of choppy) so can anyone suggest something that looks like that that would work on my PC? Im open to any genre.
Well your exact specs would help, but if WoW and MoH works on your pc then i highly suggest buying the entire half life series (but HL2 episode 1 might not work for you). IMHO HL has the greatest single player campaign in a fps + if you buy it from your local store and not off steam then you will get CSS with it.

Three outstanding, incredible games: 1. Far Cry 2. Max Payne 2 3. Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay (4. Freedom Fighters) Half-Life 2 and HL:2 Episode 1 stink. So does Call of Duty 2.

I'm not sure it will work on his PC, well it will but not worth it.
check out system shock 2, and, if you can stand to go further back down the pc timeline - pick up the (original) doom collector's edition - perhaps the best two games ever made, and they'll both run very nicely for you - half life is worth a look too, if you don't already own that
you need a good real time strategy too, if you can run world of warcraft then you can probably run dawn of war - a great place to start
and it'd be worth your time checking out the great roleplaying games like baldur's gate 1 and 2, fallout 1 and 2, planescape torment and maybe even icewind dale 1 and 2
If you like strategy games then I suggest Age of Empires 2 (Age of Empires 3 probably wouldn't run on your computer, but version 2 is better anyhow...).
