PC gamers, how was the Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 beta?

Im so jealous you guys got to play this. How was it, what were your impressions? I am big on stealth/tactics games and digging sniper elite 4, so I am looking forward to this.

Didn't leave a good impression on me. Felt like I was playing Far Cry 3 again and the performance was terrible.

@blangenakker: Well dang. Did you not like far cry?

@Savage_Doom: Oh I enjoyed the Far Cry games but I expected SGW3 to at least have some originality. Besides from the sniper mechanics there's not much else going for it. Kind of over the open world, tag enemies and clear out a base genre at the moment.

Did not play the beta for this one, but both the first and second Sniper Ghost Warrior games are mediocre. The first was a budget title, the second...well, still a budget title but it tried to be a AAA game and failed, though it was a large improvement.

I don't expect much from the third, and City Interactive is known for publishing maybe not terrible games, but not really great games.

@mrbojangles25: Ya this is my biggest worry, their past record. Hopefully that will motivate them to do well on this new one (and not to go bankrupt lol)
