Luckily PC games are easier to patch so it shouldn't take long to fix that and make the PC version once again the better of the ports, but I can see how that would make the game unplayable until the patch is released.

OMG, i watched that video. I cannot believe it lags like that! It was like a full 1 second of freeze. My big question is how does something get released like this? Oh right, Activision cares more about spending millions of dollars on marketing than doing adequate QA.

they wanted to rush the release to get the hyped buyers to hurry and buy it.

Lucky fo rme im not getting any of the multiplayer lag, but I did have some stuttering in the campaign that shouldnt happen, hope it gets worked out. Online has been running great though when I get into servers with people that have pings under 200.

To be fair I don't think the PC version is the only version messed up big time. It seems the PS3 version is plagued with horrible bugs as well :-

Now it is fairly understandable for the PC version to have problems due to the the many different configurations but seriously problems on a console with one set configuration ? What makes it even more laughable is both MS and Sony have a certification system that is supposed to prevent games being released with these kind of amateur schoolboy errors.

One final thing that did make me laugh is that the minute problems occured with the PC version that was cue for the media to scream "it's a sign PC gaming is dying" :-

Oddly enough I don't see any one screaming "The PS3 is dying because COD BO has technical issues"

I'm getting frame rate issues and lag on both the single player and multi player game. Sort it out Treyarch!

I have Black Ops for the PS3, and i exprience A LOT of framerate issues while playing online. As a result, I have come to the PC section to see if anyone has monitored the game and see what is the average FPS during playing online. It seems in multiplayer, the graphics take a hit, for the worst also.

The hype machine... BIG $$$$! Patches incoming but so is the negative press.
