Can anyone help me. I have been wanting to play final fantasy 7 for a long time and I have finally decided to get it for the PC. I gust bought a laptop with windows vista and I was told that some games will not play on vista. I want to know if ff7 will play on vista. I need people who have played on vista to answer this question. I don't want to buy it off of ebay not knowing if it will work.
I am VERY sure it will NOT work on Vista. Old games do not work on it, for some odd reason. You are just better off finding another computer to play it on.

Thats my problem I don't have another computer. And I'm not going out and buying windows xp or buying a new computer. That would be stupid.
I don't know if it does or it doesn't but it won't install on my computer, but I think it might be the discs. If I had to take a "guess", you might be able to play some "version" of FFVII on Vista (coughcough), but I know nothing about it. Good luck!
Considering it didn't run on XP (well thereis a patch that's *supposed* to let it work on XP), I doubt it'll run on Vista. The game is 10 years old.....
