Would you want PC games to have achivements? For example like some steam games(TF2,AudioSurf,and others) do you think it will make a game more fun?

I think the only game it adds a bit of replay value to is Portal, mainly because thats a puzzle game.

Achievements are fun, but I only find it to be fun if I can get it while actually enjoying a game. When I find achievements that require a rediculous amount of tries to accomplish, then they aren't fun, imo.

I don't care about achivements, and I also think that a really good game does not need achivements to expand its life span.

I won't go so far as to say that achievements make a game better but they can change the way a game is played.I use achievements as a way to see what level I'm at with other people, like how Steam tells you what percentile of people got the achievements you also have.

I play games to have fun, not to have a contest of who has the least of a life.

I would like it yes, but only if PC gaming had one, unified system. Like Steam, but not annoying and universal for all pc games and gamers.

I don't care for achievements at all, I believe their a waste of time that developers add in to make you more addicted and turn their games into grinding and making you want to spend hours and hours trying to complete each task.....Instead of making a great game that doesnt ask you to replay the game because it adds a little number to your achievements, but makes you want to replay the game because you want to.

no it ruins the fun in games. why not just play and enjoy the game instead of playing for achievements.
