PC Games Would Make More Money if....

PC Games would make more money if Micro Center didn't just whipe out people's hard drives like a bunch of dumb @#$s. @#$$#@#$%!! I won't be spending a dime until 2013 now because I'm going to be backlogged just putting and playing Witcher 2, Crysis 2, the newer Fallout games and Arkham Asylum back on my pc and up to speed. @#$@#$ you Micro Center techies; dumbasses. (And yes I gave them a back up disc drive for when they completed their work, they could set it up on a back-up drive that automatically saved everything every day. They did whatever they did and then put the back-up disc drive with the wrong information/nothing on my PC.) @#$ you Micro Center!

Don't be stupid work on your computer yourself. The guys at micro center are making like 12 bucks an hour, that's like paying the guy from in-n-out to work on your computer.

Easy enough but I am that In-Betweener who plays games but isn't super astute at PC so, yes, backing up your own stuff is easy enough to you and easy enough to me but to a certain percentage of the (older) population we might think we are backing stuff up for a certain window of our lives, only to find out that it was working before?! But itisn't nowwhen you needed it most!

And to the guy who said fix your own computer? Man, you're the same guy who when I'm having a computer problem I google it because I want to solve it myself if possible since I'm not dumb. Then I'm like sweet! Here's someone with the same problem and he's posting it! I'm totally going to fix this problem!

And then someone replies to help him with, just flip the quadralahara on your quadcam and run a diagnostic on your derp derp derp. Then, under Run, enter c/folder/b/folder/fu2. And I'm going, okay. This is the part when the person who posted the problem is going to say, "I don't know what you mean, can you please specifically tell me how to do all that point by point as if I don't know what a quadalahara is?"

But instead of saying that they go, "Sweet! It worked! Thanks!"

I have no idea what the title of this thread has to do with the rant contained within....

Support centers are there to fix your problem, not perform maintenance.

Do you have any idea how much time it would take and how much it would cost in labour hours?

Frankly, I'm amazed you did'nt safety copy everything important before sending off your PC.

Micro Center is a retail outlet with a fairly good reputation for prices. I was letdown by the service department. Yes, it was a rant. And it was a waste of forum space. I'm not picking a fight with PC gamers; if you look at my posting history you will see I don't post any where else but to the PC and Mac forums (or any where else online for that matter.)

Also, I was training a new hire today and couldn't react to the bad news I had gotten on my hard drive so when she went to the restroom, I let loose on the forums. Also, I'm not such a huge egomaniac to think that any one would give a crap about a gamespot blog by me.
