What is the best PC gaming desk to hold my gaming computer and a 23 inch monitor with speakers? Possibly in the future I will buy a better monitor I can use my Xbox 360 on. Any suggestions will be helpful.

There's no such thing as a "pc gaming desk" and there certainly no "best desk" for that... :?MonsieurXWhat is a good desk to house my computer? Right now I am using a coffee table and my bass as my shelf for games. It doesn't look bad but I could really use a desk.
Use your local Craig's List I found a great big desk that I use everyday for $50. Just make sure you bring someone with you when you go pick one up. People will kill you if you're alone.brandon2802Lol, that's the main thing that is the problem, I live REALLY far away from a town over 700 and this town has noone that really uses PC gaming so I can never seem to find anyone close enough to pick up games or other small items. :/
I like solid wood desks. Makes a mousepad unnecessary. The desk in my den. It's custom built and can be broken down into manageable pieces (by removing a few screws) for easy movement. It's a pretty big desk. I can fit in a 40" HDTV easily.
Lol most ransom thread EVER, furniture shops? wallmart as you americans call it, internet?? use your imagination

This isn't actually pointless. jun's for instance has no room for a mousepad. Well in the center there is but uh, that's a pretty odd position.
Also if you LG aim in QL you need a good mousepad, a hardwood desk is crap compared.
Now I am in dorm so I have a giant mess on my hands, but notice how I have plenty of room for my mousepad and of course mouse.
Thing is, me being pro quake live player I need a ginormous mousepad so if you are pro you need a big ass mousepad, and yes you do use all of it, at least the X axis, not so much the Y.
Now obviously this setup I am on atm is rediculously terrible looking, my home setup is much more elegant. Your only option TC if you don't want to have a stupid looking setup is to go to a desk store and get something nice but if you are 1337 you want to make sure it is ginormous.

Actually, there is room for a huge mousepad. There's a CPU hutch that slides out in the right enclosure which just happens to be full of junk.. Plus, that 24" monitor is closer to the front than the back. I wear bifocals which means I have to look down at a sharp angle. So, I moved the monitor closer. I could solve that with a high computer chair. But, my kid took it. That's why I have a folding chair right now.
Ther's no lag with my mouse movements using the surface of the desk. The wood surface has a texture and the varnish is a dull type. I've had this desk since 2002 and played Quake 2/Arena and the UT games on it back then. It's fine.
Just find the desk that's right for you. I personally use a large L-desk with a small shelf above one of the straights that I keep my moniter on. I'd post pics but my camera needsd to be fixed. Really my only suggestion is to get a nice thick wooden desk that's has room for the things you want to put on the desk and then some extra room just in case.

If you want to LG 35+ you need a good mousepad lol, a desk won't cut it. I lg ~40 avg in duels.I am just really looking for a good brand and something that looks nice for a PC gaming station. socomusnavyThe best ones are just Home Depot doors with bits of dowel attached.

I relied more on a combination of anticipating and reflexes than pure reflexes when putting out a spread of shots across a group. I usually got a feel for the mouse response given enough time spent on it.
Would a mousepad improve my skills? Perhaps. It's academic for me though. Since I started wearing bifocals, I've quit super fast twitch games.
