I think consoles are rubbish. If I said that with my real feelings, I'd get in trouble, so here are some reasons:
1. Consoles are slow - admit it!
2. Using your thumbs to play games isn't accurate enough.
3. Playing with a mouse gives you good accuracy.
4. A keyboard has unlimited possibilities due to the amount of keys.
Okay people, get real - get a PC for gaming!

you can be plenty accurate with your thumbs. Not quite as good as with a mouse, but still not bad. controllers have more natural, smooth movement than a keyboard.
Yes a keyboard has a lot of keys, but it would be an utter pain if they all did something. Most games (most, not all) simply dont need that amount. There are a couple of genres, rts and mmo, where the keyboard is really that much more useful, hence 90% of them are on pc.
consoles and controllers are superior for platfoming style games, and jrpgs. They also are slightly easier to use for driving games and flight sims. While its true that pc has more good fps games, thats simply because its easier to balance it with the mouse and keyboard. Halo is a good example of a console fps done extremely well, and i dont care what you think about that, because i know im right. Im a pc gamer btw, im just not stupid enough to start thinking crap like whats been posted.
Oh and supermooseman - yes we can read his bs, but its so badly written that you cannot expect people not to make fun of it.
