What's the best PC headset software that doesn't lag so I can talk to people using my PC headset instead of typing...

also i'd like to know if there's also other software options like being able tyo use it alone to talk to people without games running and such.

...so that's all I'm asking... thanks a lot.

tbh gamers prefer and i personally the Sennheiser brand of products...they are i believe perfect for gaming, you can hear clearly in CSS of enemies and for music as well its great!

The second question you ask...im not clear as to what ur asking...are you asking for software and applications which allow you to talk to others whilst in game such as ventrillo or teamspeak? Or to talk to family and friends around the world over Skype?

Ventrillo is an excellent voice chat software, the best part is it's free.

Ventrilo is good, but someone needs to set up a server... if you're just using it to talk one on one every once in a while then use xfire.  I find it works very well and doesn't lag, even when you raise the sound quality.  However if it's a group of friends that you game with regularly, you'll probably want someone to have a Vent server up all the time.
