PC was never dying it's numbers were being mathmatically manipulated to appear that way some of the biggest cross platform gaming companies sales reports(ea ect) ...it took combind sales of all 3 consoles to beat pc sales... if you looked at the numbers 1:1:1:1 pc sales were higher then any signle platform =p i've linked the sources in defense of the pc before but too lazy too now (esp since no need to since no one is attacking the pc) ;)
Most times if a website tries to show that consoles have sold better than PCs individually, they don't include Digital Distribution sales, so no Steam sales which probably accounts for more that half of PC gamers now.

Agreed, not just in gaming though...
So many great TV shows get cancelled recently because their viewer base is only determined by who watches it on TV, but now-a-days more and more people are watching the shows Streaming from places like Hulu, and their own official websites.
Sadly its all about the money :(

Ironically this is kind of another "PC is Dying" thread isn't it? Any way. I'll just say this.
The greatest technological innovation to video games most recently is arguably the visual rendering of the upcoming Rage game which will allow more CPU power be directed into AI while simultaneously boosting the visual elements AND gameplay elements. But because they have to also make Rage game available for (stupid) consoles which won't be able to grahpically render the games greatest innovation any way, we all get a fifteen hour game. That sucks.
PCs baby! Now and forever. 'Nuff said.

Activision owns Blizzard, who makes Diablo.
Simple concept, no?
No they don't, they both owned by Vivendi, why don't people get this..
While Vivendi is the conglomerate that owns Activision, and to that extent Blizzard, I believe Activision has more of a hand in the production and direction that Blizzard takes.

Thats an assumption, but no where is there a proof for that, they work independently from each other.

Well, if you recall, Activision attempted to buyout Blizzard before they merged with Vivendi. It's clear Mr. Kotick wanted the company pretty badly, so it could be logical to assume he'd want to have some degree of control over it. It was mentioned in the merger how Blizzard devs will enjoy a degree of autonomy, but who knows if that's changed based on WoW's fluctuating sub numbers. Strong evidence? *Shrug* Does it really matter much to me? *Ehh*[QUOTE="Tuzolord"][QUOTE="MythPro1"]

Blizzard made a ton of money of wow and they still are, they were just recently braggin about it and telling why they are so succesfull. Hell Blizzard doesn't even allow Activision to be part of Blizzcon. And I don't care how much it matters to you, theres no reason to spread lies.
