Alright lets say I have A 300 WAT PSU. and I get a video card that that say "needs a 300 WattPSU" Will that be enough to power my whole PC along with the video card?

Basically no. You need something that is higher than the recommended amount to give yourself headroom.

well the answer is yes in the sense that if they state a 300w powersupply is recommended they do mean 300w for the whole system including the gpu, not just the gpu by itself, so a 300w power supply should suffice (if it's a good quality psu that is, cheaper brands don't always supply the power they promise). i would never blindly follow those recommendations though; if you want to know what kind of power supply you should get i would recommend you just post your specs (300w would seem really low for a decent gaming system btw) or you can get a general idea with a power supply calculator such as provided here.

You usually should get a good brand and little above the recommended.

If it is the recommended wattage requirement put forth by the company then of course it would work as long as the Power supply also meets the 12V rail requirements.

I had a 300W no name psu that was running my intel e8400 and ati 3850 normally. Yet again, that was risky and I upgraded it to 565W. Can you post you pc specs?
