Hi,

Im struggling to get something working and its starting to annoy me, basically i moved my 32" HDTV (generic make) 1080p supported into my office with my xbox/ps3 etc to make it into an office/games room, i want to hook my pc to is, I have tried VGA and DVI-I to HDMI and cant get any resolutions above 1168x760 to work, im gonna go and say im guessing its the maximum resolution it supports, but is there any work around for it, or am i gonna have to buy a graphics card with HD output to get it to work properly.

Many thanks

Maybe your HDTV isn't true 1080P? If anything update your GPU driver.. Can't think of anything else.

It would be immensely helpful if you gave us a link to the screen you have.

Its a generic one that i got from my local supermarket, and its definately 1080p because my ps3 is forced to run at 1080p and it does so just fine. :) Many apologies i cant provide you more details. I just wondered if anyone knew of anything i could try.
