In order to run the best of the new games, what kind of rig do you need (minimum)? And what is the price range?

I was wondering becuase I just bought CoD4 and can't run it, and I hope to play WAR when it comes out which I will also not be able to run for now.

Thanks for the help.

You could download this program it is cpu-z and it shows you what kind of mobo you have and if it is a AGP or PCI-E.

What kind of psu do you have. If you don't know right away you can take off the side panel of the case and you should be able to see a sticker on the side of your psu.

You say about $600 wll I'm sure you could get a decent pc for that much but I'm not sure cause I'm a little bit new to making one well I'm very new to making one but I plan on making my self a pc.

So far I plan on getting a mobo and a cpu at the same time and then over time I'll get the rest. I is hard for me to get enough money to get this stuff cause one I have no job and it is difficult to even get one two I'm on dissability and get a scertain amount of money in each month and I pay my Mom rent and what ever is left over I get.

Also or my Mom and I we raise cockatails birds and when we sell some of them I get a part of the money and when we do yard sales I sell bowies, swords, folder and pocket knives. Also ever now and then I go on ebay and sell some of my games and jerseys that I have around.

Yeah I'm just 14 so it's whatever I can get from allowance, X-mas money, lawn-mowing money, and what I can get from my parents.

Wklzip is probably one of the most helpful users on this forum.

He actually will take some time and try to help out newcomers. Good stuff.

CPU: Intel E4600 $119.99

Great!

Thanks guys.

And how long would a PC like that be able to run without become "outdated"? Just an estimate.

Until it plays low settings? I guess about 3 years.
