Pc vs Mac

macs suck. End of story.

Although that commercial about windows vista new security program is so damn true. onemic

i hate macs with a passion, mostely because they are sore losers and adverties lies, but frankly i have noticed macs are trying to take control of the gaming industry, with EA giving mac 6 games (C&C, BF 2142, HPOOF, Madden 08, Nascar 08, and the sims, or somthing) and John Carmack and ID tech 5 showed an impressive movie showing an impressive game that's going on mac and consoles BUT NOT PC.

personally, i'd like to see mac rot in hell, but i dunno, they might come back

apple make some sweet hardware. there new power PC has the new core 2 octo (it has 8 cores) which wont be on PCs until july. its graphics card is a bit poor but plonk an 8800GTX (or better yet 2 of em) in there and.......wow. im assuming u can upgrade the hardware in a mac with off the shelf stuff....or do apple lock it all down? i havent had a mac in ages.

however games support for their OS is laughable at the mo (though u can install windows on a mac of course which greatly improves it).

pc is gaming and mac is just for surfing the interweb and u get no viruses O_odrblood1

With vista 64 bit it should be nearly impossible to get viruses as most viruses work in the 16bit sector which Vista 64 doesn't support.

There's no way that ID is releasing its new game on only mac and consoles. They would lose a ton of money if they did that, not to mention a loss of exposure from PC gaming centric websites.(which of course trump those of the mac)
