because macs have intel processors, could i run them without boot camp? I saw a video of a guy playing WAR on a mac, and it didn't look like he was using boot camp, so that got me thinking about this. Also, i noticed war isn't on the mac games page. help please?

I doubt it. The processor is not the problem, it is the OS. Odds are he was running it with boot camp, in a virtual machine, or somehow got it working with the Wine windows emulator.
