Error? I would just add a 2 to that 261 = 2261 maybe?
[QUOTE="04dcarraher"]wow is my Phenom 2 @ 3.6 and DDR3 helping that much to out pace even you C-rule?C_RuleDunno. It does seem a bit odd that it would score your PC higher than mine. But, I guess anomalies are to be expected with any benchmark.
Something is weird with PCMark 7,
Igot 2692, Q6600 @ 3.4 and a GTX470 which was OC'ed to 710 coreand 1900 mem (PCMark is reading this wrong).

I got a 2264 from my somewhat outdated rig which I haven't really updated for over a year; although I did buy a 5770 to replace my dead 4870 but I don't consider that an upgrade.
Guess you score depends on what mood your PC is in.
Link.
2593 with my CPU at 3.8GHz.C_Rule
LMAO, this is weird now, I'm still scoring higher than yours, clocked 400Mhz less, a older CPU and a slightly better GPU, I dont think its 400 points though, should be about 150 tops.
http://3dmark.com/pcm7/29643 this is mine very good score i prolly would get 5000 and odd i think my raptor harddrive is way lacking is whats causing the low benchie

something has to be wrong because i scored 4994 with a i7 920 clocked at 4.2ghz...
yea as i said its my harddrive lol take alook :) everythink else seems fine my Harddrive is 10,000rpm but doesnt have a fast speed/write for gaming etc etc unlike urs your 1 i proper quick!
or maybe im just using a single Hard drive who knows ive looked at every1 elses my seems 2 be higher then most except when it comes 2 windows defender! who know me thinks its time to go SSD
[QUOTE="C_Rule"][QUOTE="swehunt"]Oh, wow. I conclude, the test is broken. Don't think so, the test make sure to test the HDD's, a SSD will give a much better result than with a typical mecanical drive.3834 PCMarks

Decided to install and run it this weekend.

Asus P6X58D Premium @ 21 x 200MHz
12GB Corsair XMS3 @ 2000 DDR
Three GTX 580 in Tri-SLI @ 850/2200
120GB Vertex 3 SSD
50GB Vertex 2 SSD
Two 3TB Deskstar 7K3000 in RAID-0 - 6TB
1TB SpinPoint F1
Samsung 22X SH-S223L DVD-RW

Corsair H70 cooling
Corsair AX1200 power supply
How come I only got 3769 with a GTX 580? http://3dmark.com/pcm7/64035xsubtownerx
This benchmark isn't based on just graphics cards. (I'm proof of that) ;)
Quote from PC Mark:
PCMark 7 includes 7 separate test suites combining more than 20 individual workloads covering storage, computation, image and video manipulation, web browsing and gaming.(Not much on the gaming to make a big difference though)
If you want a GPU benchmark, which is more for gaming, then you'd have to use 3DMark11, not PCMark7.
2572 for me but something is wrong it says my CPU is only running at 1333Mhz and my ram at 667Mhz.zahyrRam @ 667Mhz is normal. DDR (Double data rate) ram basically doubles your 667 Mhz, thus making it 1333. I'm sure someone here can give you a more technical explanation.
