One problem - you have to be sure the motherboard will support a q9550 (just being the same socket 775 is not enough). And I'm willing to bet it doesn't.
are you serious? would easily be 8 times if not more. I'd put it around 2-3x faster per core and there are 4 vs 1. the pentium 4 is now celeron performance.
