I've never won a team match. People are sooo bad on B.net its unbelieveable. Someone always has to leave the game and screw everyone over. then when someone attacks you everyone just sits and watches as your getting attacked. Theres no type of team work at all. hopefully they implement some sort of matchmaking system so i don't keep getting paired with such@ss people.
The logic is flawed because, as a previous poster said, the other team should be getting bad players as well sometimes. Perhaps it is you who is doing something wrong sometimes? I don't doubt that your teammates are doing something bad but...

no no... both sides do have terrible players. I've never actually finished a game cause everyone always leaves when they start losing. that when one person leaves the rest of their team leaves.

Why don't you ask to play alone? Everyone playing against you, since they're not helping you anyway even if they're on your team. Then, if you're about to lose, you can leave them hangin' as well. Payback time.
I think the uber fantastic we play this game all day it is our life Battle.net people are terrible. Anyways I don't know what game you are talking about, but I have won (and lost) a lot of 4 vs 4 games in Warcraft 3 and a lot of the wins were due to team work. Funny I can win a game with strangers, but when I play with my friends we lose almost every time.:?
Usually I'm terran and if things start to go sour I just lift off all of my buildings and fly them into a corner while everyone on my team is destroyed. Then I just hope the opponents turn on each other because they think someone didn't turn on allied victory or whatever.

yeah well you can't win if you can't finish the match now can you?
i guess it has to do with people playing with their clans. playing with a clan is probably a lot better than just getting paired up with random people. hopefully SC2 has a matchmaking system similar to Halo 3's for us non-clan people.

Back when I used to play Starcraft a lot, I think my biggest problems was that I'd be in the middle of a game and then it would be dinner time. So I would be expected to come upstairs for dinner, and I'd be like, "oh great. Well, looks like my record will be 0-155-8. I was really hoping for that 1-154-8. Maybe next time...". But then I was struck by a brilliant idea that eventually brought my record to 0-155-88. No more losses for me. Unfortunately, the phone jack on the wall broke due to overuse.
just try communicating over the chat...if they dont respond, give people orders, then at least if they dont do what you ask you can blame the loss on them being idiots :P
iv had some games where there has been great teamwork, but i hate playing hunters, and then when you are about to do a coordinated attack, one team member moves out without you and gets majorly raped...which starts a chain reaction ending with your death...people just need to talk more, and attack together with a variety of units
