Thanks to someone's clever Photoshop work, my anticipation for Blizzard's potentially-announced-as-of-tomorrow Diablo III has never been greater. With their Worldwide Invitational taking place on Saturday in Paris (9 hours ahead of us Californians), it looks like Diablo III is set for unveiling, and if so, with it my life as a free man goes down the tubes. It wouldn't be much of an exaggeration to say that Diablo II pretty much spelled doom in a past relationship, and if the new game is anything like it, I'd better start making plans for the future. Chains, shackles and bonds will be needed to tether me away from my computer. Diablo III will undoubtedly do what Hellgate was unable to, and that is to keep me playing night and day. Oh, how I crave details. Make sure to check 1UP.com all weekend for our Blizzard's Worldwide Invitational Diablo III (or whatever it ends up being) coverage, courtesy of our man on the Seine, Thierry "Scooter" Nguyen.
