It's worth it if your budget allows you to get the top-of-the line CPU, GFX, MB, RAM, PSU, Case and still have money left over. If getting the physx means you have to get a 8800gts instead of a 8800gtx for example, it is definately not worth it.Mr_NoName111Then what about me should I get one specs are in the sig.
Its amazing what it can do, i just wished more games use it

i mean where have you ever seen real water, cloth, and metal physics. But..... after playing the crysis beta and seing the paper physics (plants.) you probably wont need it
as for Unreal 3, im pretty sure Ageia just designed/programmed the physics for the game. i dunno if its gonna have PhysX support like cellfactor. 3dmark06 had ageia do their physics, having a PhysX card does nothing for that. you need an actual PhysX support profile, like SLI with nvidia, for a game to fully utilise it.
kinda like what havok is to half-life 2. they design the physics engine, but having a dedicated physics card doesnt give any advantage, its still all done via the CPU.
Ok some games like Unreal tourney3, a few ubisoft adn some free games will/were realsead with physx suppot. IS it worth tp buy it and does it helpw ith any other gamesMiles0T0Prower
I'd say it's not really worth it. The list of games that is supports are fairly small. Save the money towards a faster graphics card.
Can't Dx10 GPUs render such physics? I read somewhere that DX10 would take PhysX out of the market...conradgeneral
