I've been playing some Guitar Hero and Taiko on my PS2 through AV cables on my HDTV... and I think there is a delay. Is that because of hooking AV cables up to an HDTV? Help me out please.
What kind of HDTV? If it's projection, then it is simply the projection. Some older LCDs will have a noticeable blur, but it shouldn't be an actual delay. Also, make sure you're not going through a TiVo or something like that. Just go directly to your television. The type of cable you use should only affect the picture and audio quality.
If it's a Samsung projo, it should have a "game mode," that will help with that delay. Otherwise Guitar Hero should have callibration if I remember correctly.
Regarding the subject, please help me. My PS3 60GB is connected to Philips 37PFL7603D LCD HDTV via HDMI cable. My problem is that I have a 0,5 second(approximately) delay when I move in the game. I notice that, because I have another PS3 80GB in the other room connected to older television(not an LCD) with av cable and there is no delay, so when I switch to LCD I notice a delay. It is very frustrating! Set up of my LCD is optimal according to PS3 latest information and because of the HDMI cable there shouldn't be any delay!?! Please help. Thank you in advanced!
