How do i find out what my "ping" is?  i was playing counter strike source and was kicked off because my "ping was too high" and ... what does that mean?

To get your ping to show, open console and type (net_graph 1) no brackets

just get tcp optimizer and try a few rwin values>save>play a server close to you= All set.

I only say this , because you'll probably be asking how to lower the ping next.

A good ping is anything under 100 ms, but should be 10-50 for most good ISPs and connections.

Ugh, you don't need to even use the console to find your ping. It's the number on the very right of the score board.
