Because those 6 pin connectors sometimes cause trouble.

Yes or try another card. I've noticed in some crossfire setups the power supply is very irregular- this will cause driver to crash.

So basically my video card is damaged as well if it's the PSU?

and also if it's my PSU, can you recommend a good PSU on the market for me :D

thanks for the great help

RMA the card anyway, and see how it goes. Some cards do shutdown some stream processors if they aren't given adequate power (my old but still great 8800GTS 512, told me it wasn't recieving enough power from a 400watt PSU), it operated fine, but it was working at 50%. I'm fairly sure GPU's still do that now.

As for good PSU's, Corsair, Antec, Thermaltech are all brands I would recommend.

I'm only giving you a few pointers, I don't really know what could be the problem. I've seen many weird problems like HDMI audio drivers causing system bios to fail on some mobos....so don't really jump to conclusions, by all means RMA the card but if the problem persists again, you need to be sure. I use Tagan BZ1100 PSU because it comes with very strong replaceble connectors with adjustable fanspeed.

Holy hell mate, sometimes i think pc's come straight from hell haha :P

my PSU is a OCZ GameXtream 600watt which is about a year or two old, the amount of watt should be fine though but if i have to change it im probably going to switch to the XFX black edition 850 watt, since i got my video card from the same retailer :D

but yours had a RAM error too?

not if you buy a PSU Tester for 15-21$ but i belive it not the case : really I think it only the gpu the fault just by judging the bloody hell of those pixel you shown me specially if you can get them to show on the BIOS / Before Window Is Loaded and that the pc still accept to boot in safe mode after few attemp

http://pcsupport.about.com/od/toolsofthetrade/f/powersupplytest.htm
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16899887005

but with a psu tester it say you'r 100% sure it as a issue or not with that and will reveal it if it need a RMA but anyway i hope you get ur 280GTX fixed soon i know how annoying it can be to be wanting to play ur pc and it refuse so you'r stuck on console / flash game lol
