Im Pissed off.

I have a 7900Gt

x2 4200+

3 gigs DDR2 ram

Windows vista 32 bit..

Im getting sick and tired of this, im getting like 30-15 fps in the source games..I have all of the latest drivers..IM GETTING FRUSTRATED> People with lower end rigs are playing the games just FINE.

I ask around, People say ohhh get a new processer, Get a new video card!!! (My video card is fine btw)

Is it worth upgrading to a x2 6000? How come Im getting horrible performance from my copy of Vista?? Everyone else seems to be just fine.

yeah u do have a high-end pc but vista eats up your resources....i would get XP also (u can have both installed on your comp, and choose which one u want to use at boot-up....) so that u can switch between both if u wanna play cyrsis or some other Dx10 game

IMO: vista is a great OS with alot of potential for gaming, but right now untill they get the bugs and compatibility issues worked out XP is your best bet, and right now there really arn't any good DX10 games out, well that is untill cysis comes out
