hello. going downrange and i won't be able to have a television and so i was wondering if there is a way to get my 360 to display on my laptop. i have hdmi if that would work but that's probably output only huh? thanks
i've personally never heard of a laptop with video in. i have looked into this myself, and there is no way. you could potentially try a usb tv tuner but between crappy resolution and 3 or so seconds of controller lag and possibly not having sound sync with video, i highy suggest avoiding it.
wow thats reall helpful. yeah the only way your going to get your Xbox to work on your laptop would be a USB TV Tuner. and depending on how good your laptop is you may get some lagg. its very CPU Dependent usually
you can get a VGA cable for the 360 and link it up to a regular PC monitor to play in 720p, but you won't be able to link it up to a laptop screen because as others have pointed out - they are video output only.
