Playing game on one monitor and surf web on the other?

Hello,

Here's my situation.  I have my PC set up to both my monitor and my TV.  I was wanting to know if I could play a full screen game (Far Cry 3) on my monitor while my wife is browsing the internet on the TV?  I'm also using the Xbox 360 controller fyi and she is using a mouse and keyboard.

I use 2 monitors and although I haven't had the need to be using both at the same time like you want as far as I know you can't do this. I use the 2nd one to watch video while playing football manager etc.

Honestly, though, even though it's technically possible to do this it's such a pain in the ass that a much better solution would be another device for the TV.

Boxee, Roku, even a console like a PS3 or 360 if you already have one. Streamer boxes like that run as low as $40 depending on what make/model you get. Just be sure which one you get because not all of them have the ability to do web browsing.
