Have any of you guys used PlayXpert overlay from GamersGate? What are you're opinions on the overlay?Can you run it at the same time as Steam Overlay? And is it safe to use? (Will it be detected by VAC or PunkBuster as a hack?)

I tried it out when they first put it up on GamersGate - it is not good from my experience. The client seems to be a resource hog, the overlay works in fewer games than XFire (From my experience) and the installer forces you to install some special graphic driver software for it to run. I don't trust anything that installs a driver I have no need for. My suggestion is: skip it completely. If you feel like trying it then walk into it with your eyes open.

i tried it a long time ago, and as carlosjuero has implied, it just doesn't seem to be worth the hassle and resources. for a program that is supposed to make you stay in the game by not having to alt-tab out, it just seems... worse than alt-tabbing out.
