Before I make any game purchase I always check out the review on GameSpot. It is the reason why I signed up and gladly support the site.

In light of the BioShock DRM scandal and it seems like a trend is starting here. I would like to see going forward GameSpot include as part of the game review - Information about the game's copy protection and any hidden gotchas (may be another entry in the Vital Stats section) so as a potential buyer I can make an informed discussion.

GameSpot reviewers. Fellow gamers. Thoughts?

Not a bad idea, but I think this *hopefully* is an isolated occurance with Bioshock and the DRM.

There's been lots of cases, can't really recall them atm, but some games install stuff in secrecy and BF2142 had a pretty big scandal too

I don't understand the gripe about the DRM for Bioshock.. The only gripe I can see people getting annoyed at is it requires internet for one time.. Now I don't know about you but the average person in the 21st century has at very least 56k.. Also the multiple installs got increased to 5 instead of 2.. Even then it wasn't that big of a deal because you got those licenses back when uninstalled..

Other then that it has not been any problem to ones like Starforce..
