Honestly no idea what you're on about
I've been using the latest Nvidia drivers since they were released, and I've seen nothing to do with "Stereoscopic 3D" or "Nflxm".

lol, TC has been torchedlol alli know is nvidia are s**t at display drivers, god know what they are like with anything else. Chris_53If nVidia is s**t with their drivers, then ATI must be s**ty pathetic?
The general opinion seems to be NVIDIA offers better driver support than ATI....thats from my experiance though.
[QUOTE="Marfoo"]I know for Nvidia you can download only the driver if you wish.NeoncronAre you sure about that Marfoo? I guess I'm not. Sorry, I could've swore when I was helping a friend with drivers I found a driver only option on their site somewhere, now I can't find it all. Maybe you can just choose the display driver only from the installer options. ATI lets you download driver only lol. Anyway, in my experience the Nvidia drivers aren't worse than ATIs. I think Nvidia's control panel is a bit more cumbersome (but that could be because I don't use it all the time), but on the other hand it does have a lot of specific settings that ATIs are missing. ATI on the other hand I think has a pretty balanced driver suite from the advanced view. All the settings displayed are the ones most people are worried about, and the options are mostly clear about what they do, although it doesn't go as in depth as Nvidia. I know sometime back in 2006 the drivers were pretty clunky, it wasn't that they were bad, but the driver suite was slow to boot and a resource hog. Then one month in the release notes they said they optimized it, since that day I have no complaints.
I had GeForce/ION Driver Release 186 and I had to rollback to previous drivers. I was BSODing on Company of Heroes and Call of Duty 5 like every two hours. I rollback to old drivers and *BAM* no more BSODs. First issue I've had with NVIDIA drivers though.
My machine has been problem free with every NVIDIA driver version since Windows 7 RC came out, which is what I'm running. Well actually it's always been problem free, reaching back through many driver versions for Vista x64 and XP 32-bit. Currently playing Fallout 3 / Left 4 Dead on my 8800GTS G92 with driver version 186.18. I don't quite max them out because I like to make sure the frame rate never drops below 45, but they run great.
As for Creative, I *almost* sympathize about AutoUpdate. But for me, it ran itself once after installing the drivers. Plus, it is easily uninstalled without removing the sound drivers or any other Creative app you might want (if you actually want those things).
I recently purchased the PCI-E X-Fi Titanium. The sound quality is head and shoulders above the onboard I was using previously. I currently have only the drivers and "Creative Console Launcher" installed. The latter was necessary to switch the "FlexiJack" to microphone mode.
